Art from the soul.
Electric Purity, whose real name is Victor, is a young, transgender Latine artist who has roots along the East Coast from Florida to New York. Art has always been a part of Victor’s life from a young age. He has always drawn and created what he could and has only recently begun to explore oil painting and more 3D mediums. Perhaps due to his autism or just being a strange person to begin with, Victor has always had a fascination with the weird, fantastical and macabre and explores those themes in his art. As an artist, Victor has been published twice in Front Range Community College’s Plain Paradox journal, has won first in 3D design and painting categories at a Firehouse Art Center show, and won the Scholastic Art Gold Key in his senior year of high school. It wasn’t until his college years that he relearned how to create art for himself and to enjoy the process. While he doesn’t create for others, he does hope that other people can enjoy the things he makes.
